Empty Nest Games is an independent affiliate site for Big Fish Games in Seattle.  The site was established in 2007 by Melanie Cutter and a zany crew of writers, game designers and reviewers.

There are a lot of game sites on the Internet but few are aimed squarely at empty nesters, or people who don't really have much experience with downloadable games.  We have gone out of our way to make this site simple, safe and fun!  Let us know how we are doing!

Meet the staff:

About Us

Melanie Cutter, formerly an office manager at Pepperdine Law School in Malibu California, is the new CEO of Empty Nest Games. She makes all the important financial decisions and calls the shots when it comes to which games we review and recommend. Melanie has been a casual gamer for years and is a frequent consultant for Big Fish Games in Seattle.

Autumn Nicholls is a key contributor to the Empty Nest Games operation. Miss Nicholls is currently working towards her PHD in sociology and has been a practicing vegan for many years. She also enjoys yoga and exercise.

Mitchell Johns is a professional game developer with over 25 years of experience. Five of his games were listed in Computer Gaming World's list of "The Top 150 Computer Games of All Time". He has won numerous awards for his work, including several "Game of the Year" nods.

Steven Cassidy helps out at the Empty Nest Studios part time.  He is a multi-talented singer, dancer and acrobat, and has performed professionally in a variety of stage shows and musicals.  One of Steven's most recent roles was Mungo Jerry in the Broadway musical "Cats".

Tommy Ryan is a semi-professional mycologist who helps out with support.  He plays the guitar in his spare time and is an avid and accomplished gamer.
